Job Purpose:
Manage the Learning function in Distribution operations as well as provide support to OUs ( organization units) on Stocks and Inventory Management, in addition to the following:
1. Competence Development
2. Performance Support
3. Support Distribution Assurance Plan
4. VETOM/ERP Management
Principal Accountabilities:
- Develop a technical learning and development strategy for Distribution
- Develop learning materials for Technical and Functional Courses and Coordinate Group Courses.
- Analyze and compile development needs for key staff as per Line needs.
- Advice and follow-up on development of the ICDPs for all employees in D to ensure it is embedded.
- Provide advice to Samp;D Managers and teams on a range of Learning and development tools available in the Group.
- Keep database of Samp;D staff training across Functional and Cross Functional courses and monitor effectiveness.
- Keep abreast with the initiatives in Development and learning to be able to provide advice to the business.
- Deliver and lead Facilitation Technical and Functional learning.
- Participate in reviews and audits in Distribution and Transport.
- Participate in VE Samp;D special projects depot automation, Terminal benchmarking , master plan development etc.
- Support the OU's in application/implementation of VE standard operating practices and procedures throughout the VE operations.
- Participate and Provide support in new markets entry due diligences
Requirements
Job Knowledge, Skills amp; Experiences:
- University degree with qualifications in engineering or science or equivalent professional experience.
- A sound understanding of the overall downstream supply chain and must have a solid experience in Distribution, more than ten years
- Good communicator [oral and written]
- Training and Experience in Learning processes and Facilitation Skills
- Previous position as a Distribution/Operations manager
- Change Management experience, facilitation and coaching skills are desirable.
- Perfect Knowledge of stocks management in the ERP - SAP
- Good interpersonal and motivational skills
