About this role
Infomineo, a leading Brainshoring firm with a workforce of 400 employees, is seeking a Junior Database Administrator to play a key role in enhancing and supporting the database security and integrity of our core software systems, including Odoo ERP, Hubspot, and Workable. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic technology team, working to ensure seamless database operations that are crucial to our business functions.
What you will do? Key job requirements will be your ability to
1.Database Management and Support:
- Assist in the management and maintenance of Infomineo's databases, ensuring high levels of performance and security.
- Contribute to database optimization and tuning to ensure efficient performance.
- Collaborate in the design and implementation of database structures, storage, and retrieval mechanisms.
2.Software integration:
- Play an integral role in integrating databases with Infomineo's core software systems, including Odoo ERP, Hubspot, and Workable.
- Develop strategies for database integration and data flow between various systems.
- Ensure that integrations are executed efficiently, aligning with business needs and technical requirements.
3.Data Quality Assurance:
- Ensure the reliability, uniformity, and completeness of data across all databases.
- Recommend improvements in data management practices to enhance data quality.
- Work closely with IT, Data Analytics, and ERP specialists to implement data quality measures.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
- Actively collaborate with various teams, including IT, Data Analytics, and ERP specialists, to ensure smooth implementation of database-related projects.
- Participate in the training and support of end-users, focusing on resolving database-related issues.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to database configurations, processes, and user guides.
5. Continuous Learning and Improvement:
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in database management technologies and practices.
- Proactively seek opportunities to enhance personal technical skills and knowledge in database administration.
Who you are?
Background amp; linguistic skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience in database management, preferably with exposure to Odoo ERP, Hubspot, and Workable.
- Strong technical skills in SQL, database design, and data integration.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English, with additional languages being an asset given the diverse geographical locations of Infomineo's offices.
