About this role
Infomineo, a dynamic Brainshoring firm, is seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient Senior Odoo ERP Developer amp; Analyst. This role demands an in-depth understanding of coding, module customization, and agile software development methodologies. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in developing new functionalities, adapting each module to Infomineo’s specific workflow processes and needs, and ensuring robust implementation and user adoption of the Odoo system.
What you will do? Key job requirements will be your ability to
1. Technical Development and Customization:
- Develop, code, and customize Odoo modules to align with INFOMINEO’s specific business processes.
- Use Python, XML, and JavaScript for development tasks within the Odoo framework.
- Implement agile development practices for iterative and efficient project delivery.
2. Module Adaptation and Enhancement:
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design and develop new functionalities within Odoo to improve business operations.
- Regularly update and upgrade modules for optimal performance.
3. Implementation Strategy and Testing:
- Develop and maintain a robust strategy for deploying new developments on test servers before production rollout.
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure functionality, reliability, and compatibility.
- Coordinate with IT infrastructure team for server management and deployment.
4. Change Management and Training:
- Develop comprehensive training materials and conduct sessions to ensure smooth adoption of new features among staff.
- Lead change management initiatives related to Odoo system updates and enhancements.
- Provide detailed documentation for end-users and internal IT staff.
5. Change Management and Training:
- Utilize agile methodologies for managing the lifecycle of Odoo development projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Track and report on project progress, addressing any issues promptly.
6. Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in Odoo and ERP technology.
- Suggest and implement improvements to existing systems and processes.
- Encourage innovation and best practices within the team.
Who you are?
Background amp; linguistic skills:
- Extensive experience in Odoo ERP development and customization.
- Proficient in Python, XML, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
- Solid understanding of agile software development cycles.
- Experience with database management, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Competencies:
- Odoo Certification or equivalent technical certifications.
- Experience in a BPO or service-oriented industry.
- Knowledge of Linux/UNIX server environments.
- Experience in front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3.
