You will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of modular, extensible, and reusable test automation harnesses and scripts. In this role, you will be integrated with an engineering team and will partner with other team members to drive quality best practices into the application development process.
The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, extensive experience in Quality Engineering processes, methodologies, and best practices, hands-on skills with API and GUI based test automation for functional, performance and load testing, as well as technical testing skills such as database querying and code comprehension.What you'll do:

- Work closely with Agile team members to drive the team’s commitments to quality
- Write test plans and execute them for new features and applications
- Build and execute API and GUI test automation scripts
- Generate and analyze test reports
- Quality inspections of test and development artifacts within the team
- Track issues and work with developers to identify root causes
- Drive quality control around CI/CD pipeline process and implementations
- Provide technical guidance/coaching to developers on quality tasks
- Provide an established record of driving a culture of quality within your team.
- 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience in an automated testing environment.
- 2+ years of experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience testing applications built and deployed using the Java Spring Framework
- Automated testing using Python (preferably using the Pytest framework)
- Automated GUI testing using Selenium (preferably via Python scripts)
- Automated REST API testing
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline and build tools including K8s, Jenkins, Artifactory, Spinnaker, Helm, Salt, Terraform
- Ability to work effectively with product management, software development and release engineer
- Strong understanding of QA methodology and the Software Development Life-cycle using Agile principles
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services technologies a big plus
- Experience testing API endpoints and React applications.
- Unit test reporting via SonarQube
- MongoDB testing experience
